I’m back from the dead! We have been very busy lately so Naturally Blessed Mama has been put on the back burner, but now everything is calming down so I have a new recipe for you guys!
This hot cocoa is delicious. It’s dairy free, sugar free, and gluten free. The collagen peptides give this cocoa the silky smooth taste you know and love from the regular hot cocoa you buy at the store. The collagen also adds some protein to the cocoa. One scoop is 8 grams!

If you like the straw in the first pic you can get one here! They’re straws are awesome. Made out of the same glass they make pyrex with these straws are harder to break then the normal glass straws you buy off amazon. And if you – or your kids – manage to break them they have a lifetime guarantee! And if you don’t like it you can send it back for a full refund. They are also dishwasher safe and you can use them from ice cold tea to hot cocoa. Enough chatter, on to the recipe!
- 1 cup dairy free milk - I use the so delicious coconut milk
- 3-5 tablespoons stevia - I use the brand Stevia in the raw
- 3 teaspoons cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 scoop collagen peptides - I use vital proteins
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Mix all ingredients into a small pan and whisk (whisking gets all the clumps out). Set on the stove and turn heat to medium. Let stir for about 5 minutes, stirring every few minutes. Pour into and mug and enjoy!
