DIY Sock Heating Pad

Hiya there! Today I’m gonna show you how to make a DIY Sock Heating Pad! These heating pads can be used for any type of muscle pain or stiffness. I use it for cramps. I also love to use them during the winter as they are very warm.

To make these Sock Heating Pads you will need:

2 calf length or 2 knee high socks (Knee high socks make a good neck heating pad.)

Old Fashioned Oats

Canning Funnel

First open up the sock and put the funnel into the sock. Slowly pour in the oatmeal.

When it gets about halfway full take hold of the top and slowly squeeze downward.  Make sure none of the oatmeal goes above your hand.

Tie off the top then spread out the oatmeal evenly in the sock.

Slide the other sock over the oatmeal sock and then tie off.

Spread out evenly again then pop in the microwave for about 30 seconds and enjoy! If you want a cooling pad slip it into the freezer for about 15 minutes. You can also add essential oils if you want. Just remember to add them after you put them into the microwave or freezer!

Have you made one before? How do you like it?
